  • There is little or no information about this car or engine on the net, so I put together this site to provide information and tweaks that I have found usefull and generally share my experience with this car.

  • This car is in no way slow and you can have an excellent time getting the back end out into power slides, doing donuts and generally having a good time. As people do not expect this car to be fast they are quite surprised when you're at the lights and it leaves them standing, the rear wheel drive providing excellent grip. The car has many of the same characteristics of it's big brother , the Volvo 360 2.0 L, but it is much lighter, more drivable and more manouverable. The 360 has a wealth of information on it especially the engine (B200E), whereas the 1721 engine is poorly catered for.
